About This Rajasthan Itinerary
The ultimate 7-day Rajasthan road trip covers four iconic cities — Jaipur (Pink City), Jodhpur (Blue City), Jaisalmer (Golden City), and Udaipur (White City). This itinerary takes you from grand forts and ornate palaces to the vast Thar Desert and serene lakeside havens.
The desert experience in Jaisalmer — camel rides through golden sand dunes, sunset over the Thar, folk performances, and sleeping under the stars — is the highlight of this trip. Combined with Jodhpur's mighty Mehrangarh Fort and Udaipur's romantic lakes, this is Rajasthan at its finest.
The total driving distance is about 1,500 km, but our experienced drivers make the journeys comfortable with well-timed breaks. The changing landscapes — from Jaipur's hills to Jodhpur's desert edge, Jaisalmer's golden dunes, and Udaipur's lake-filled valleys — keep every drive interesting.

FAQs
Yes, 7 days covers Jaipur (1.5 days), Jodhpur (1.5 days), Jaisalmer (1.5 days), and Udaipur (1.5 days) with comfortable drives between them.
Absolutely! Camel riding through golden sand dunes, watching the desert sunset, and the evening cultural program with dinner under the stars is an unforgettable Rajasthan experience.
Jaisalmer to Udaipur on Day 6 is the longest at 560 km (10-11 hours with stops). We break this with a Ranakpur temple stop. You can also fly Jaisalmer to Udaipur.
Yes, add Delhi to Jaipur on Day 0 (280 km). From Udaipur, you can fly to Delhi (1.5 hours) or drive (660 km, 11 hours). We recommend flying for the return.
November to February is perfect — cool weather, clear skies, and the Jaisalmer Desert Festival in February. October and March are also good but warmer.
A sedan works fine for all paved roads and even the Sam Desert road. For off-road desert exploration, we can arrange a jeep separately. The cab stays parked at the camp.
