Last reliable BPCL/IOCL pump is at Sundernagar. Mandi-Manali stretch has small pumps but unreliable in heavy snow. Carry 5L spare jerrycan — non-negotiable.

Atal Tunnel closes for snow clearing 6-9 AM in heavy snowfall periods. Rohtang Pass: closed Dec-Apr. Detour via Atal Tunnel only.
