The second night halt at Pang or Sarchu lets you acclimatize. Day three delivers the stunning Morey Plains (India's highest plateau), Tanglang La (5,328m), the magnetic hill optical illusion, and the sacred confluence at Sangam (Indus and Zanskar rivers) before reaching Leh.
