Frequently Asked Questions

A 3-4 day Jibhi trip costs Rs 4,500-11,000 per person. Transport by Tempo Traveller is Rs 1,295-1,460/person, wooden cottages and camps Rs 600-1,800/person/night, and treks Rs 300-1,800/person. Jibhi is a budget-friendly offbeat gem.
Jibhi is a hamlet in the Banjar Valley of Kullu district, Himachal Pradesh, about 510 km from Delhi (10-11 hours). The route runs via Chandigarh, Mandi, and the Aut tunnel, then up the Banjar Valley. Our hill drivers manage the final winding road safely.
Plenty for an offbeat group - Jibhi Waterfall, the Serolsar Lake trek from Jalori Pass, Raghupur Fort, Chehni Kothi tower, riverside camping, forest cafes, and GHNP day treks. It is quieter than Kasol or Manali with a cosy wooden-cottage charm.
It is an easy-to-moderate 5 km trek (one way) from Jalori Pass through beautiful oak forest, taking about 2-3 hours. Anyone with basic fitness can do it. Jalori Pass itself is reachable by vehicle, so the trek starts at 3,120m.
Jalori Pass (3,120m) is usually open March to December. It can close temporarily during heavy winter snowfall (January-February) and monsoon landslides. In summer and autumn it is fully accessible. We check road status before your trip.
March-June for lush greenery and pleasant weather, and September-November for clear post-monsoon skies and autumn colours. Avoid July-August monsoon (landslides). December brings occasional snow at Jalori Pass for those wanting a wintry vibe.
