Complete Road Trip Guide from Delhi
Delhi is uniquely positioned as the road trip capital of India, with six major national highways radiating outward to every compass direction. The Yamuna Expressway connects Delhi to Agra in under 3 hours, making same-day Taj Mahal visits effortless. NH48 towards Jaipur is a smooth 4-lane highway ideal for weekend drives to Rajasthan. NH1 heads north towards Chandigarh, Shimla, and the Himalayan foothills, while NH24 connects to Uttarakhand destinations like Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Nainital.
For first-time road trippers from Delhi, we recommend starting with shorter routes like Neemrana (120 km, 2 hours) or Mathura-Vrindavan (180 km, 3 hours) before attempting longer drives to Shimla or Manali. Highway dhabas along these routes serve excellent North Indian food - our drivers know all the best stops for parathas, chai, and regional specialities.
Toll charges on Delhi expressways range from Rs 200-800 depending on the destination. The Delhi-Agra Yamuna Expressway toll is approximately Rs 415 for sedans. Our cab fares are exclusive of toll and parking charges which are charged at actual.
