The Journey

How long is the drive to Jim Corbett National Park?

Delhi Airport to Jim Corbett is 255 km and six to seven hours on NH9 through Moradabad to Ramnagar, which is the gateway town for every safari zone. Your driver tracks the flight and meets you at the arrival gate.

The timing matters more here than on most transfers, because safaris run on booked slots at dawn and mid-afternoon and the park does not hold a slot for a late arrival. If you have a morning safari booked for the day after you land, an afternoon arrival at Delhi works comfortably; an evening arrival does not leave much margin.

Resorts are spread across Ramnagar, Dhikuli, Mohaan and the Kaladhungi road, which are 10 to 25 km apart on the park periphery. Tell us the resort name rather than just the zone, because the last stretch to some of them is a forest road and we want the right vehicle on it.
